🇧🇹Bhutanese government holds over 13,000 BTC

Bhutanese government addresses hold 13,029 BTC, which at the time of writing are valued at around $761.83 million. The country also holds 656 ETH and several other altcoins, according to Arkham analysts.

According to experts, the country received bitcoins as a reward for mining, which is carried out by the investment division of Druk Holdings.

Arkham also noted that Bhutan is the fourth largest country in terms of the number of bitcoins on its balance sheet. According to them, unlike most governments, the country receives its first cryptocurrency not from asset confiscation by law enforcement agencies, but from mining.
