Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, is making a new listing for an altcoin in futures.

Binance announced on its official blog that it will start Tether (USDT) margined futures with a maximum leverage of 75x for Bonfida (FIDA). It was stated that the FIDA/USDT contract will start trading on September 19, 15:30 TSI.

The exchange also emphasized that funding rates may initially change every 4 hours between -2.00% and +2.00%, but these rates, maximum leverage and minimum transaction limit may change over time depending on market conditions.

This listing from Binance caused a sudden increase in the price of FIDA. FIDA gained 39% from $0.24 to $0.336. Later, there was a slight pullback, and at the time of writing, FIDA is trading at $0.301.
