Trump Assassinated Again?
Mr. Trump is safe after a failed assassination attempt while he was golfing in West Palm Beach, Florida early this morning (Vietnam time).
The Secret Service discovered a gunman carrying an AK-47-style rifle in the bushes near the golf course boundary. They fired warning shots when they discovered the gunman about 400 to 500 yards from Trump.
The suspect, believed to be Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, from Hawaii, abandoned the gun and two backpacks and fled in a black Nissan. But he was quickly apprehended after police issued a warning about the vehicle.
There is currently no information about the motive for the incident. Trump has sent an email confirming that he is safe.
This is the second assassination attempt on Mr. Trump, following a previous incident on July 13 in Pennsylvania, where he suffered a minor ear injury
