So who were these founders and what are they doing now?
1- @VitalikButerin
Still at the helm of the project. One of the most well-known and respected names in the Ethereum and crypto world.
2- Charles Hoskinson
He was kicked out of Ethereum. Because while he wanted to turn Ethereum into a VC project, Vitalik wanted it to be an open-source and public project. That's why Vitalik kicked Charles out.
He later founded the Cardano project
3- Gavin Wood
He was a later addition to Ethereum but made one of the biggest contributions. He was one of the people who established the first Ethereum test network and developed the programming language.
He left Ethereum in 2016 and founded the Polkadot project.
4- Joseph Lubin
He was the most experienced of all co-founders. He joined as COO but in 2015 he founded and became the head of @Consensys.
In 2023, he launched @LineaBuild, a Consensys layer 2 project.
5- Mihai Alisie
He was one of the people who founded Bitcoin Magazine and organized the foundation of Ethereum as a company in Switzerland.
He left his position as vice president of the Ethereum Foundation until 2015.
6- Jeffrey Wilcke
Jeffrey, a computer engineer, made great contributions to the development of Ethereum's Geth (Go Ethereum).
He later left Ethereum and founded his own game studio company. He said, 'It's better to spend my energy on other things than Ethereum Drama.'
7- Amir Chetrit
Amir, who worked on the Colored Coins project in 2013, entered Ethereum Co-founder upon Vitalik's proposal. But over the years, other co-founders have said Amir was useless and have forced him to withdraw from the co-foundership
8- Anthony Di Iorio
