Foresight News reported that Penpie project team reached out to the hackers on-chain, stating that they are willing to negotiate a bounty in exchange for the safe return of the funds. They requested the hackers to contact them in a confidential manner to discuss the terms. Penpie also provided their contact information. Previously, Penpie had been the victim of a hack, resulting in the theft of approximately $27 million in cryptocurrency assets.
