ChainCatcher reported that Japanese intellectual property platform J-PlatPat showed that Pokémon, the owner of the well-known animation and game IP "Pokémon", has completed a patent application for distributed ledgers and NFTs.

It is reported that Pokémon is the main company that manages and operates the "Pokémon" IP, and is a joint venture between Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures.
