Report reveals that there are 55 million crypto users in LATAM, 12% more than in 2023
In addition, 4 out of 10 people who open a crypto app in the region do so from Argentina
In August of this year, Lemon, a crypto services company that operates in Argentina, issued a report on crypto activity in the country. It also presented data on crypto adoption in Latin America, indicating that 4 out of 10 people who open a crypto app in the region do so from Argentina.
The report also indicated that, for this first semester, there are 12% more users than in 2023, reaching 55 million users in the region. They indicated that in Argentina there are already more than 2 million downloads of crypto applications in the first half of 2024.
They also highlight that Lemon and Binance are the crypto applications with the highest user acquisition in Argentina, the sum of both applications represents a capture of 75% of the crypto app sessions in that country. The report collected information on user behavior at market times so far this year.
