The most miserable people nowadays are not those who have no money,
but those who have no concept of money at all. For every takeout order, you can buy a chicken at the vegetable market. A hot pot meal is enough to last for half a month at home. A cup of milk tea can be exchanged for 60 eggs; a cup of Starbucks can be exchanged for a box of milk; a taxi ride can be used to ride the bus for a month; the poorer people are, the more generous they are, because their cognition is too low and they don’t understand the importance of money at all. The truly rich people make money appropriately and spend it appropriately. They will not overdraw their health while working hard to make money, nor will they pursue vanity and squander it at will.
