During the upgrade, operations such as sending and exchanging on THORChain will be suspended.
The upgrade includes Cosmos SDK version upgrade, removal of obsolete code, streamlining of node status, and support for Bitcoin Taproot addresses. THORChain emphasizes that users do not need to take any action, but interfaces, exchanges, wallets, and dApps need to be prepared to ensure a smooth transition. Projects that support THORChain network transactions should immediately start dynamically obtaining the current chain-id to avoid service interruptions after the chain forks.
