As Cointelegraph reported, sales of Ethereum-based NFT collectibles surged last week, with total sales reaching $304 million.

CryptoSlam data shows that Ethereum NFT sales increased by 76% month-on-month to $201 million, accounting for 66% of total sales. In comparison, Bitcoin NFT sales were $40 million and Solana was $29 million.

Last week's sales exceeded the $296 million record in September, which was the lowest monthly sales since 2021.

Seven of the top ten NFT collections sold last week were based on Ethereum. Pudgy Penguins topped the list with $54.4 million, and LilPudgys came in second with nearly $20 million.

Azuki NFT sales increased by 130% to $18 million, and Azuki Elementals increased by 226% to $7 million. Doodles and CryptoPunks also made the top ten, with $13 million and $7.4 million respectively.

NFT sales have continued to be strong since early December, with sales reaching $678 million in the first 21 days, exceeding last month's $562 million, making it the best performing month since May.
