According to TechFlow, the U.S. House of Representatives passed an emergency appropriations bill to prevent a government shutdown on December 20 local time.
The new bill will provide funding for the U.S. government until March next year, preventing some federal government agencies from shutting down after midnight on the 21st, Eastern Time, 8th.
The latest bill removes the debt ceiling section, retaining a short-term extension of government spending, billions of dollars in disaster relief funds and additional aid to farmers.
