According to TechFlow, SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce said in an interview with Coinage that he is optimistic about reconsidering the SEC's two major decisions on crypto ETFs.
She noted that physical redemptions and Ethereum ETF staking may be reconsidered. Unlike the period under Chairman Gensler, she is now optimistic about the changes under the new administration.
Peirce said if the majority of commissioners want things to go smoothly, then things will be easier, and she noted that the path forward on both points will be clearer after Chairman Gensler steps down on Jan. 20.
