According to Foresight News, the German State Data Protection Supervisory Office of Bavaria announced that it has concluded its investigation into Worldcoin’s compliance with the GDPR.
The agency ordered World to implement a GDPR-compliant data deletion process within one month of the ruling coming into effect. World appealed the decision, seeking judicial clarification from the regulator on whether its privacy-enhancing technology meets the EU’s legal definition of anonymity.
