According to Odaily Planet Daily, ZK Nation initiated the ZIP-4 proposal in the official governance forum, suggesting that the execution delay on the ZK Chain be shortened from 21 hours to 3 hours.
The move is intended to enhance user experience and operational efficiency, and to leverage the newly formed safety committee to respond quickly in emergency situations. ZIP-4 is a resubmission of ZIP-2 due to previously discovered technical issues.
ZIP-4 will likely be committed to chain in late January 2025.
