According to Wu, the New York Stock Exchange has applied to convert the Grayscale Solana Trust into a spot SOL ETF. Grayscale and the New York Stock Exchange jointly filed the application to promote institutional investment in Solana tokens.
Previously, VanEck, 21Shares, Canary Funds and Bitwise had submitted applications respectively.
