According to TechFlow, on November 13, a survey by the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation showed that 6.2% of underserved households would use cryptocurrencies in 2023, compared with 4.8% of households with full banking services.
Cryptocurrency usage was higher among higher-income households, with 7.3% of households earning $75,000 or more using cryptocurrency, compared to just 1.1% of households earning less than $15,000.
Additionally, only 1.2% of unbanked households use cryptocurrencies, compared to 5% of households with bank accounts.
