The German government is gradually reducing the amount of Bitcoin in its wallet, leaving only 9094 BTC - 18% of the original amount. This wallet has transferred hundreds of millions of dollars in Bitcoin since June 19 and increased activity in early July. 📉#Bitcoin#CryptoNews

On July 11, the wallet dropped below 5000 BTC after transferring 10,620 BTC - worth $615 million - to cryptocurrency exchanges such as Coinbase, Bitstamp, Kraken, Flow Traders and two anonymous addresses.

However, some of these funds were transferred back to the German government wallet, bringing the German Bitcoin count back above 9000 BTC.

Currently, the German government only holds 18% of the 49,857 Bitcoins it seized from the Movie2k website in January, worth $520 million.
