What else is known? In March, Helika raised $50 million in venture capital to launch a crypto gaming accelerator. The initiative aims to make it easier to integrate crypto tools into early-stage games and products from major studios. Helika previously collaborated with gaming giant Ubisoft and Yuga Labs, which created one of the most popular NFT collections, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC).
A Helika spokesperson told Decrypt that the previous program and the Telegram accelerator announced today may overlap and share some resources, but the initiatives are separate from each other and funded from different sources.
Notcoin co-author Sasha Plotvinov noted that the project should become the basis for the development of “viral, entertaining, competitive social crypto-games” on Telegram.
At the end of June, the project team burned 210 million NOT for $3 million, and also announced payments of $4.2 million NOT to participants in the Notcoin Explore rewards program.
