According to Foresight News, The Block reported that Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms mined 255 BTC in June, a 19% increase from May (215 BTC). The number of Bitcoins mined is about half of the same period last year, which is consistent with expectations after the Bitcoin halving event in April this year.
In addition, Riot Platforms stated in the document that it had exceeded its second quarter computing power target of 21.4 EH/s, reaching 22.0 EH/s by the end of the month. It received $6.2 million in electricity subsidies from the Texas power grid, a slight decrease from the previous month, and plans to achieve a computing power target of 31 EH/s by the end of the year.
