According to the statement company, co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, they will help improve the work of departments related to security, development and digital privacy.

Former Apple, Meta and Tesla executive Rich Hely becomes Orb's chief device officer. He will lead the design, performance and availability of tools developed by Tools for Humanity for iris scanning.

Damian Kieran, who held the post of director of personal data protection at social network X, banned in Russia, will receive the same position at Tools for Humanity. He will hire new employees and participate in “shaping new industry standards for privacy compliance.”

Former Google Chief Security Officer Adrian Ludwig becomes Chief Information Security Officer. His responsibilities include ensuring internal and external data security at Tools for Humanity.

Finally, Ajay Patel from Google Payments joins Sam Altman's team as head of World ID. He will lead its go-to-market strategy and partnership campaigns for the project.
