According to researchers at the analytical company CryptoRank, as of June 28, 2024, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Polygon continue to hold leading positions in the number of unique addresses in their blockchains. Evidence suggests that more and more people around the world are becoming familiar with cryptography technology.
BSC ranks first with 458 million addresses, while Polygon is a close second and boasts 440 million wallets. These figures highlight the widespread and active use of these networks. Ethereum, despite its long history and important role in the crypto industry, occupies only 3rd place with a result of 274 million, while also showing stable growth.
In 4th place is Tron with 240 million unique addresses, confirming its popularity among users. Fantom with 177 million wallets and Optimism with 148 million are also among the leaders, showing significant interest in their platforms. The Base platform, launched by the creators of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase last year, has already attracted attention with 83.5 million addresses.
Next come the TON, Arbitrum and Avalanche blockchains, with 36.9 million, 33.1 million and 26.8 million unique addresses, respectively, indicating their growing popularity. Additionally, analysts noted that Aptos and Moonbeam rank in the middle with 21.7 million and 20.3 million, also showing strong user interest.
Network platforms Sui, Celo and Linea, despite smaller figures (16.5 million, 14.5 million and 6.8 million unique addresses, respectively), also find their audience and continue to develop. These data reflect the dynamics of the blockchain industry and highlight the importance of various platforms in the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
