ATTENTION! Learn from This Story: I Lost 650$ When Depositing $NOT to Binance!
I mined $NOT for 4 months and kept it in my Telegram wallet while waiting for it to reach $0.05. I wanted to deposit to Binance today, but I made a big mistake and lost 650$ !
How was it?
* I went to my Binance app to withdraw my $NOT from my Telegram wallet.
* I entered the deposit section and copied my $NOT wallet address.
* I bought some TON to pay for gas and sent my $NOT to Binance.
* I checked the address many times and sent it after making sure.
6 hours have passed and I still haven't received my $NOT!
Where was the mistake?
Turns out, NOTCOIN and $NOT are different cryptocurrencies! While I was trying to deposit $NOT to Binance, I actually sent NOTCOIN to the wrong address.
Lessons from This Story:
* Check cryptocurrencies and addresses carefully!
*Check multiple times before shipping.
* If there is something you are unsure of, do your research first.
* Note that the names and symbols of different cryptocurrencies can be very similar.
I don't know when NOTCOIN will arrive on Binance. I hope I can get it back somehow.
