🤷 Drake's X account has been hacked, promoting the scam memecoin 'Anita' The official X account of rapper Drake has been hacked, with over 39 million of his followers receiving posts promoting a fraudulent memecoin named "Anita." This token is based on Solana and uses the name of Drake's upcoming tour, "Anita Max Wynn," to create an appearance of credibility for the scam. The attackers falsely claimed that $ANITA was launched in collaboration with Stake, the popular cryptocurrency betting platform that Drake has been an ambassador for since 2022. The posts included a contract address and related cartoon images, which were later removed. Though it existed for a short time, $ANITA recorded trading volumes of up to 5 million USD before traders realized the fraud and stopped buying. The X account related to the project was also suspended shortly thereafter. Hacking celebrity accounts to promote fraudulent cryptocurrency projects is a common tactic used by cybercriminals. Drake is not the only victim, as artists like Wiz Khalifa, Mbappe, Cardi B, and Metallica have also been exploited in similar scams. The fraudsters take advantage of the trust and influence of celebrities to harm the community. The electronic market is full of potential but rife with scams. Therefore, investors need to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge to avoid being scammed to protect their assets. #hacker #Anita #memecoin
