A chart by CryptoDep, sourced from Sentiment.net, was recently shared and gives a current state of the top AI and Big Data projects that are most active based on developer activity in the last 30 days. Near and Oasis Network are leading the table with great scores.

Developer activity is critical in shaping blockchain’s pace and development direction in the context of Big Data and AI. Developer activity, mainly through contributions to GitHub repositories, refers to the extent of current activity, new features and new developments within a network.

Oasis Network (ROSE) and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) Lead the Chart

As per the data, Oasis Network (ROSE) tops the list with an incredible score of 94.5 in developer activity. While it doesn’t have exact DAA (Daily Active Addresses) numbers, ROSE has been particularly famous for its emphasis on preserving user’s privacy, which is why many industries, including DeFi and AI, use it.

NEAR follows closely, with a developer activity score of 80.8. NEAR has recently started getting much attention for its usability in today’s world because of the decentralized application (dApps). It is also appreciated for its scalability and technology, which attract developers and enterprises.

The Graph (GRT) and Bittensor (TAO): Innovators in Data Indexing and AI

Another interesting project is The Graph (GRT), which takes third place with a score of 71.0 and 599 of DAA. GRT is a decentralized protocol blockchain data, which is an important part of making decentralized applications more usable and accessible.

Bittensor (TAO), a decentralized machine learning network, scored 67.9 in the developer activity. Bittensor is especially set to develop an open-source marketplace of AI models where researchers and developers share their machine-learning models. This high developer activity implies that TAO is active in its efforts to advance AI decentralization.

Ocean Protocol, Aleph.im, and Other Key Projects

Lower on the list, we have ORAI with developer activity (DA) of 60.3, while Ocean Protocol (OCEAN) has a 49.9 DA score and 167 DAA, which indicates rather constant development of the project aimed at making data more accessible. Another of the relatively new coins operating in the AI and data sector, Aleph.im (ALEPH), registered a developer activity of 28.9. It provides decentralized cloud computing services. Therefore, it is one of the significant projects in the data storage and processing category.

Other prominent projects in the AI and Big Data sector include SingularityNET (AGIX) with 27.5 DA, Fetch.AI (FET) with 23.5, and Flux (FLUX) with 19.2. All these projects have advanced their fields considerably, from decentralized artificial intelligence to smart automation solutions, now supported by strong development communities.

All these projects define the future of AI, data sharing and dApps. Through sites like GitHub, developers participate in these ecosystems, and as they keep building and improving the technology, they will be instrumental in the scale-up of Web3 and AI solutions.
