Voxies is the digital currency associated with Voxel Tactics, a first-of-its-kind Free-to-play (F2P) tactical RPG (Role-Playing Game). The metaverse-based development was built and launched on the Polygon network (MATIC) and is therefore inherently interoperable with the Ethereum network (ETH).
The platform promotes itself as having a dynamic gaming environment allowing users to engage their friends and other platform users in Player-versus-player (PVP) challenges for a chance to win contests and awards. The web 3.0 environment hosts these challenges in its âPVP Arenaâ.
The VoxelVerse refers to the all-inclusive metaverse environment of the Voxel Tactics game in which players explore and engage in building, buying and selling NFT assets. Virtual land and other digital assets are made available to network users in the form of non-fungible tokens which can be bought, sold or traded in a peer-to-peer scenario on the decentralized platform.
Voxies Tactics promotes individual ownership which is made possible by minting non-fungible tokens held by each unique individual holder. Not only does Voxie Tactics claim to support the trade, buying and selling of NFTs, but they can also be earned or rewarded, along with the network cryptocurrency, in gaming scenarios.
The network references Voxies as being cute, lovable collectible 3D voxel buddies. 10,000 Voxies in total, have been minted on the Polygon network from its inception in 2021, up through the time of writing.
The network cryptocurrency is also on the Polygon network, and Ethereum-compatible based on Polygon being a layer 2 Ethereum plasma chain designed to unlock Ethereumâs inherent network potential.
