TIKTOK AND AI!!!

TikTok recently launched its latest advertising tool featuring AI-powered digital avatars, enabling brands to promote their products in multiple languages. In the expanded Symphony ad suite, TikTok introduced "stock avatars" and an "AI dubbing" feature. These avatars are created from video footage of real paid actors licensed for commercial use and can be given AI-powered voices and accents to read scripts in various languages. With support for ten languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese, and Korean, this tool makes it easier for brands to create and localize their content, providing a more engaging experience for users worldwide.


Additionally, TikTok has introduced "custom avatars" that mimic the likeness of content creators and brand spokespeople. These custom avatars have the same multi-language capabilities as the stock avatars and are currently being tested with the TikTok creator community. All videos created with TikTok's AI tools will be labeled as "AI-generated" for full transparency. Although still in beta and with some imperfections such as mouth movements not matching speech, this initiative demonstrates TikTok's effort to integrate AI technology to enhance the effectiveness of advertisements on their platform.
