In 2010, 10,000 Bitcoins were worth about 40 USD. As of May 20, 2024, that Bitcoin is worth about $338 million. This is a significant amount of growth, and anyone who owned 10,000 Bitcoins in 2010 would have made a very good investment.
However, no one could have predicted that BTC would grow like this. Personally, if I was around 2010, just 10 years old, I would probably buy a big bag of candy instead of pizza like Laszlo. However, if I had the opportunity to use 10,000 BTC at this age in 2010, I would also buy pizza, but deduct a small portion to start investing in crypto. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep the money until now, but hopefully I'll sell it in 2013 - when it doubles in size.
