Jack Dorsey, the founder and former CEO of Twitter, expressed his belief that Bitcoin will reach up to 1 million dollars by 2030.
In an interview with Pirate Wires, Dorsey stated, "It will be worth at least 1 million dollars by 2030. I believe it will reach that and go beyond."
According to Business Insider, for Dorsey's prediction to come true, Bitcoin would need to increase by more than 1500%.
While discussing the cryptocurrency's price, Dorsey mentioned that although interesting, it is the ecosystem and the movement itself that impress him. "The most surprising aspect besides Bitcoin’s origin story is that everyone working on it, receiving money from it, or buying it for themselves, strives to improve it, which in turn enhances the whole ecosystem. This also leads to rising prices," he said.
Although 1 million dollars might seem slightly more than Bitcoin’s current price of $60,917, other prominent figures in the industry have also expressed similar views. Cathie Wood, founder and CEO of Ark Invest, took it a step further by predicting that Bitcoin would reach 1.5 million dollars by 2030.
