According to Odaily, Astroport has released an update regarding a recent security incident. The attacker’s ASTRO tokens on Neutron have been seized and are now held in the Astroport Treasury. The attacker’s Terra address has been blacklisted, preventing any further transactions. The IBC Hook vulnerability has been fixed. The attacker managed to steal approximately 58 million ASTRO tokens, of which around 33 million were bridged to Neutron. Additionally, about 13 million ASTRO were exchanged for 124,000 axlUSDC and sent to an Ethereum address. The remaining 20 million ASTRO on the Terra chain have been blacklisted and cannot be moved. Astroport officials are continuing to work closely with the Terra team to find a resolution. Contributors from Astroport will provide further updates, with a comprehensive report expected later this week.
