According to U.Today, tech mogul and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, has unveiled the new headquarters for X in Austin, Texas. This move follows the transition of the headquarters for both X and SpaceX from California due to recent legislative changes. The new building is notably shaped like an 'X'.

Legendary horror writer Stephen King has publicly criticized Musk for rebranding Twitter to X. King insists on calling the social media platform by its original name, Twitter. This is not the first time King has voiced his disagreement with Musk on this issue. In response, Musk tweeted 'XX' accompanied by a 'face throwing a kiss' emoji. The debate among users remains divided, with some supporting Musk's rebranding efforts and others siding with King, insisting that the platform should retain its original name.

The rebranding has also garnered reactions from the crypto community. Some XRP users noted that the new logo of the social media giant resembles the XRP logo. Dogecoin cofounder Billy Markus, known on X as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, humorously suggested that the new headquarters' roofs should have a pool and bar for pool parties.

Previously, when Musk introduced an $8 monthly charge for blue verification checks, Stephen King was among those who expressed his unwillingness to pay, stating he would rather leave the platform. In response, Musk offered to cover the verification costs for King and William Shatner, the actor famous for his role as James T. Kirk in Star Trek.
