According to Foresight News, Dan Romero, the co-founder of decentralized social media protocol Farcaster, has announced the launch of an in-app payment feature in the client Warpcast that supports USDC stablecoin. This feature allows users to make payments to others using their existing wallets with USDC without the need to search or remember addresses. The payments are almost instantly confirmed and are free of charge. Initially, this feature only supports the Base chain, but there may be additional support for other chains in the future.
