According to Odaily, the NEAR Horizon AI Incubation Program has selected six AI teams as part of its strategic vision. The program aims to build a user-owned AI ecosystem. The selected teams include:

1. Mizu, which is building the first synthetic open data layer. The goal is to cultivate an open, collaborative data ecosystem for AI developers.

2. Pond, which is using Graph Neural Networks (GNN) to develop basic encryption models to analyze on-chain data and predict future behavior.

3. Nevermined, which has created a powerful payment infrastructure tailored for AI business, providing a convenient transaction experience for AI developers.

4. Hyperbolic, which offers an open AI cloud with a GPU market and AI inference services.

5. Ringfence, which allows creators and artists to monetize their work while maintaining secure ownership. It aims to become a Web3 version of DALLE-3 that directly benefits creators.

6. Exabits, which provides GPU computing in data center environments, offering the necessary physical and technical conditions for serious AI training, inference, and fine-tuning.

The NEAR Horizon AI Incubation Program is part of the strategic vision of the NEAR Foundation. The initiative is designed to foster a user-owned AI ecosystem, and the selection of these six teams marks a significant step towards achieving this goal.
