According to Odaily, CEO Linda Yaccarino of X platform has announced the imminent launch of a payment feature, as part of the platform's ongoing development towards becoming an 'everything app'. The forthcoming financial ecosystem is designed to integrate various technological functions, offering users a multitude of new experiences. Initially, the feature will focus on fiat currency, but development is underway for potential support of cryptocurrency payments in the future.
In July of the previous year, X made significant progress by securing three money transfer licenses, laying the groundwork for its new payment system. Yaccarino emphasized that this development will provide users with a range of new experiences, altering the way they interact and transact on the platform. She stated, 'There are so many new things to experience. Think about it: once we launch the payment service - starting from the United States - the financial system will appear on this platform.'
