According to Odaily, the founder of SlowMist, Yu Xian, reported on platform X that assets worth $2.1 million from the Balancer ezETH-WETH Stable Pool were stolen. The theft was caused by a phishing attack on the Permit offline authorization signature. Yu Xian also mentioned that some re-pledged assets support the Permit mechanism, while others do not, indicating a fragmented standard practice in the industry.
