According to Odaily, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has issued a directive to farmers, stating that farms cannot be used for cryptocurrency mining. The government body views such activities as a misuse of farms for purposes beyond their intended use. Furthermore, those who violate this regulation will face a penalty of up to 10,000 United Arab Emirates Dirham, equivalent to approximately 2,722 US dollars.
