According to PANews, Amazon has announced plans to invest an additional $2.75 billion in Anthropic, bringing its total investment in the company to $4 billion. As part of the collaboration, Anthropic has agreed to use Amazon Web Services data centers and Amazon's custom computer chips. In May last year, Anthropic completed a $450 million Series C funding round led by Spark Capital, with participation from Google.
