According to Foresight News, Blockframe, an NFT marketplace and creator platform, has joined the core development team of zkSync Era. The primary purpose of adding new members to the core development team is to involve them in building new primitives for other developers to use, ultimately leading to a ZK Stack that can be built without the need for community ownership. Blockframe's new open-source protocol, Bulk Semaphore, is a tool that developers can use to scale on zkSync without sacrificing the privacy of the protocol and its users.

Built with the support of Matter Labs, Blockframe features on-chain royalties, large-scale AI-assisted NFT creation tools, and an NFT perpetual exchange supported by the new ZK protocol. Bulk Semaphore is the first solution to effectively address and achieve large-scale privacy protection using ZK primitives on the EVM architecture. It is used by Blockframe to implement scalable sealed-bid auctions on zkSync Era and EVM chains, but the privacy protocol has many other use cases as well.
