According to Foresight News, the Chaoyang District in Beijing has announced its collaboration with Hong Kong on the development of the Web 3.0 digital industry. The district is already leading Beijing in the field of Internet 3.0 and other digital economy sub-sectors. Chaoyang is promoting the construction of a digital economy computing power center in Beijing, with the Beijing International Big Data Exchange Data Asset Registration Center being the first to be unveiled in the city.

The Chaoyang District and Hong Kong have also begun planning in the Web 3.0 field, initiating a joint construction cooperation between the Hong Kong Web 3.0 Association and the Chaoyang District for the 'Beijing-Hong Kong Internet 3.0' digital industry. Under the leadership of the Hong Kong Web 3.0 Association, the Chaoyang District will collaborate with the Hong Kong Cyberport, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and other associations, universities, and enterprises to develop the Internet 3.0 industry. The main areas of cooperation include jointly promoting the construction of the Web3Hub (Beijing) Digital Center, jointly tackling cutting-edge issues in Internet 3.0, and co-hosting the Beijing-Hong Kong Internet 3.0 Summit.
