According to Foresight News, SlowMist's Chief Information Security Officer, 23pds, announced on Twitter that they have successfully intercepted some funds being laundered after a large number of BitBrowser users had their assets stolen. BitBrowser is currently filing a case, and SlowMist will officially intervene once the case is successful. Previously, BitBrowser issued a statement saying that their server-side cache data had been hacked, and they had reported the case. Users who had enabled extended data synchronization were at risk of having their wallets stolen, and it was recommended to take immediate action to transfer wallet assets until the official notification of a complete fix. The incident only affected digital currency wallet users, with other users remaining unaffected.
