**Bitcoin Community Rallies for Hurricane Helene Relief in North Carolina**

North Carolina's Bitcoin community is stepping up to provide critical aid in the state's mountain region following Hurricane Helene. Starting October 4, a 12-person team of emergency room physicians, volunteers, and retired military personnel will depart from Greensboro. Equipped with six trucks, utility vehicles, trailers, and even a horse and mule, they aim to assist the hardest-hit areas, including Ashe County.

Organized by the North Carolina Blockchain Initiative, Bitcoin Mining Museum, and HM Tech, the convoy will clear paths and search for missing individuals using chainsaws and medical supplies. The initiative focuses on "overlooked" communities that have received little to no state or federal support.

Donations in Bitcoin (BTC) and fiat are being accepted to support the mission. Hurricane Helene, a category 4 storm, has already claimed 189 lives and caused extensive damage across seven states, with many residents still isolated and without electricity.
