Just over a month ago, I bought some $DOGS coins through the Tonkeeper wallet and completely forgot about them.
Yesterday, I transferred them to my Binance Web3 wallet. Shortly after the transfer, I received an NFT with a tempting offer claiming I could "triple my profit" just for holding onto the coins.
Without much thought, I clicked the "Take part" button, linked my Tonkeeper wallet, and was told I needed to specify the main wallet because no $DOGS were found.
After a few moments, it hit meâI was dealing with a scam website! This fake domain, created only 19 days earlier, nearly tricked me into losing my coins. Thankfully, I realized in time before losing everything.
Stay sharp! Scammers are getting more creative by the day.
