The Hamster Kombat team announced plans to launch a dedicated advertising network for games within the Hamster ecosystem, set to debut in December 2024.

The team emphasized that revenue generated from this ad network will be used for token buybacks, which will be distributed as rewards. They stated:

“We’re also planning to use ad revenue to buy back tokens from the market for regular distribution to players and token burns.”

Token buybacks operate similarly to stock buybacks, where a project uses its resources to repurchase its tokens from holders at market price to manage price volatility. In contrast, token burns involve sending tokens to burning addresses, effectively removing them from circulation. This process creates scarcity, which could potentially lead to an increase in token value.

Additionally, Hamster Kombat revealed plans for 2025, including the creation of a non-fungible token marketplace, a competitive clan championship, and the second phase of its airdrop.

The popular Telegram clicker game has outlined its vision for late 2024 and into 2025, including the launch of a Web3 gaming platform to enhance its offerings. On September 25, the team detailed their roadmap for the final quarter of 2024, which includes integrating external payment systems, launching new games within the Hamster ecosystem, and adding non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as in-game assets.

Since its initial release, Hamster Kombat has rapidly gained popularity, attracting 239 million users within just 81 days and surpassing 300 million users overall.
