YEREVAN (CoinChapter.com) — Hamster Kombat, a popular Telegram-based game, recently conducted an airdrop that left many players feeling shortchanged. Despite the distribution of billions of HMSTR tokens, numerous players reported receiving only trivial amounts, commonly referred to as “dust.”

The process was also marred by technical issues. Complaints targeted the smart contract on The Open Network (TON), which facilitated the token minting. However, despite these challenges, Hamster Kombat’s developers are planning expansions beyond Telegram. Expansions include new games and NFT integration, aiming to stabilize the game’s economy and renew player interest.

Regional Responses and Future Plans for Hamster Kombat Airdrop

The reception of the airdrop varied significantly by region. While African countries showed high search volumes for the game, interest in the United States was markedly lower. Notably, on Binance, substantial trading volumes of HMSTR against the Turkish Lira highlighted specific regional economic engagements.

Additionally, the global reaction to the airdrop could influence the approach of developers toward future projects. Above all, with plans to roll out more features and possibly reduce Telegram exclusivity, the developers aim to address the issues raised by the community and enhance the overall gaming experience.
