Airdrop Distribution and Eligibility Details

The Hamster Kombat team revealed that of the 100 billion tokens created for the project, 75 billion are allocated for community distribution. At the end of the first season, 60 billion tokens will be distributed, while the remaining 15 billion will be set aside for the next season.

The creators clarified that whilst the remaining 11.25% would be vested and issued ten months after the token is listed on the exchange, 88.75% of the initial airdrop will be immediately available to qualified consumers. Consequently, around 53.25 billion tokens will be airdropped instantly, with an additional 6.75 billion tokens set aside for later distribution.

The developers’ tight criteria are reflected in the choice to limit the airdrop to forty-three percent of the player base. Though the game boasts over 300 million participants, only 131 million have fit the requirements to get tokens. This selected strategy seeks to guarantee that the airdrop benefits just eligible and engaged consumers.

Web3 Adoption Potential

Hamster Kombat’s rapid expansion underscores its influence within the Web3 gaming category. Attracting 239 million users within just 81 days of its release, the clicker game proved to be highly popular and able to onboard fresh players into the bitcoin market.

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, underlined the importance of this expansion. Per Durov, Hamster Kombat’s success might inspire more Web3 acceptance by bringing millions of people to digital currency.
