The news appears to have sent a small but meaningful amount of interest toward Telegramâs chosen native crypto, #Toncoin (TON), which is up 3.3% in the past 24 hours.
Trading at $5.55, TON took a huge hit when Telegram CEO Pavel Durov was arrested in France a couple of weeks ago. After dropping from around $6.80 following the news, the token slumped to lows of around $4.50.
