Shiba Inu Team Announces Two Major Milestones
The Shiba Inu team revealed two achievements that would improve network usefulness and dynamics. Shibarium, Shiba Inu's Layer 2 solution, reached an NFT minting milestone. After a smart contract assessment, K9 Finance, the ecosystem's official staking service, will start BONE staking.
140,000 Shibarium-Minted NFTs
Shibarium, which speeds up transactions and lowers expenses for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has generated over 140,000 NFTs for 800 BONE in gas taxes.
Lucie noted Shibarium's cost-efficiency and scalability, saying, âWe're excited to share an incredible achievement from our Shiba Eternity beta closed for Leash holders! These diligent testers have created 140,000 NFTs on Shibarium, demonstrating its power and scalability.
Lucie said that this milestone shows Shibarium's capacity to keep transaction costs low despite huge volume. This makes Shibarium excellent for NFT projects and other decentralized applications that need great throughput and cost effectiveness.
Lucie added: âAnd don't forgetâShib has over 1.4 million holders on-chain, far more than what is currently active, meaning our massive army has yet to fully embark on this DeFi journey through Shibarium.â
All gas expenses were funded during beta, making it easier for developers to mint NFTs without upfront charges. âAs we build, Shibarium is proving to be both scalable and cost-effective, unlocking new opportunities for our community,â Lucie said.
Shaiba Inu Staking Launch Date Revealed
After a SourceHat examination, K9 Finance will launch its SHIB ecosystem staking service on September 18. This update will let SHIB holders can receive incentives for locking up their BONE tokens, boosting network security.
K9 Finance announced on X that the smart contract audit and staking functionality were complete, preparing for deployment. Smart Contract Audit Passed. SourceHat audited KNINE Liquid Staking & Farming contracts satisfactorily. Launch Date: September 18th, K9 Finance said.
