A prominent early investor in $SHIB has recently made headlines by exchanging a substantial amount of their SHIB holdings for $FET tokens, as reported by Odaily. Over a span of 11 hours, this whale converted 271.15 billion SHIB, equivalent to $3.7 million, into 2.987 million FET tokens. This decision follows a period of significant profits, where the investor reaped $151 million from SHIB, achieving a remarkable 49x return between February 2021 and June 2022.
However, their more recent SHIB trades haven't been as fruitful, with an unrealized loss of $10.97 million, representing a 51.1% decrease since June 2024. The shift towards FET suggests a strategic pivot, especially given that FET's value has surged by 16% recently. Despite this major move, the investor still holds a considerable 698 billion SHIB, valued at approximately $11 million.
