According to PANews, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is set to release its latest report covering the years 2022 and 2023. The report is expected to be published before the upcoming Devcon SEA event. The report reveals that the foundation's internal expenditures account for approximately 38%, while external expenditures make up about 62% of the total spending. Internal spending primarily focuses on research and development efforts by teams such as Geth, Privacy and Scaling Explorations (PSE), Solidity, and cryptography research.

External expenditures are mainly distributed in the form of grants to various organizations, including the Nomic Foundation, Decentralization Research Centre, L2Beat, and 0xPARC Foundation. These grants aim to enhance and support the long-term growth and sustainability of the Ethereum ecosystem.
