Two psychological scenarios orchestrated by market makers:
First Scenario: The price drops massively, causing panic and leading to the closure of positions by all buyers who bought at lower levels. After flushing out these buyers, the market rises again massively without respecting the previous selling structure.
Second Scenario: The market consolidates in the same area, convincing sellers that it is ready to fall. During this period, there might be small spikes downward to strengthen the sellers' belief. Then, at the right moment, a large buying volume appears, executing some significant selling orders. This triggers a rapid price increase, hitting stop-loss levels and pushing the market upwards.
