According to PANews, Chinese AI model company Baichuan Intelligence has recently completed its Series A funding round, raising a total of 50 billion yuan. The company is now set to initiate its Series B funding with a valuation of 200 billion yuan. The Series A funding saw participation from major investors including Alibaba, Xiaomi, Tencent, Asia Investment Capital, and China International Capital Corporation, as well as state-backed funds such as the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, and Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd.

Including last year's 25 billion yuan funding (comprising a $50 million angel round and a $300 million Series A1 round), Baichuan Intelligence has now raised a total of 75 billion yuan.
